SinapticaMED Tele-INR service represents an innovative telemedicine facility that allows patients, without moving from home, to carry out an activity that otherwise would have been done at the hospital and, thus, it also makes possible to decentralize local health institutes and medical guards.

Therefore, adopting SinapticaMED Tele-INR service allows to decentralize health institutes, offers patients a better quality of life and streamlines needed human resources. SinapticaMED Tele-INR service also makes possible, when necessary, a more frequent PT/INR value control, specially, in patients who need to be closely monitored.

The process follows three different steps:
1. Automatic and immediate sending of registered PT/INR values by the portable coagulometer directly from patients’ home address.
2. Health operators access data no matter where they are.
3. Sending to patients, via SMS or e-mail, the updated therapy according to value range.
Data transferred are linked to each single patient thanks to a unique code. Data transfer is carried out via Internet or SMS directly into SinapticaMED ClinicOnline®  digital case history, accessible via web and completely compliant with privacy regulations.

Tele-INR service is based on some exclusive SinapticaMED solutions:
1 WebCom® WebCom® line modules are connected to the portable coagulometer and are in charge of transferring PT/INR values. The WebCom® line offers a wide range of solutions to manage many patients at a time (when talking about local health institutes, or off-centered medical guards) or a single patient and it provides two different methods of data transfer: Internet or SMS.
2 Sinaptica IT Headquarters Service Center Our Service Center receives PT/INR data and forwards it via Internet, in a protected way, directly to the patient’s digital case history ClinicOnline®.
3 ClinicOnline® SinapticaMED digital case history ClinicOnline® allows health operators to access patients' data and sends patients themselves the appropriate therapy via SMS.

Tele-INR | How does it works?

1  Patients (or health operators) measure the PT/INR value with the portable coagulometer. Data transfer is done through one of the WebCom® line modules. WebCom®, WebCom® Plus or WebCom® Nano sends the registered value through Internet in a safe modality (you need a web connection with an Ethernet port). WebCom® SMS sends data in a safe modality via SMS whenever an Internet connection is not available.

2  Sinaptica IT receives the value automatically, protecting data (through the 3A system) and registering the value on the patient’s digital case history ClinicOnline®.

3  Authorized health operators access, via web, patients’ digital case history ClinicOnline®. ClinicOnline® is designed to be completely compatible either with most advanced technologies or with already existing software or hardware systems. This means that the operator can have access to patients’ digital case history with most available devices able to connect to the web.

4  According to PT/INR values shown in the digital case history, the health operator sends via e-mail or SMS the oral anticoagulant therapy program to be followed, customized to patient’s status.
