WebCom® is the line of Interface Agents (IA) that makes possible to automatically send, via Internet or SMS, clinical data coming from diagnostic devices compatible with patients’ digital case history ClinicOnline®. The use of the Interface Agents of the WebCom® family allows obtaining a safe communication system between patients who send data (or physicians or health institutes) and the health assistance institute that receives data directly on the digital case history ClinicOnline®.
All Interface Agents of the WebCom® line, combined with the digital case history ClinicOnline®, present many different highlights: - Prevent errors due to manually data entry and transfer. - Are highly user friendly. - Are consistent and of easy installation. - Provide internet and SMS data transfer. - Enhance data safety and univocity. - Within 10 seconds from sending, patients (or health institutes) receive an SMS notifying data has been correctly transferred. - Whenever PT/INR values are upper the normal level, ClinicOnline® can send a message via e-mail or SMS to the physician in charge. - According to PT/INR values, the system allows physicians to manually change the dose that is automatically sent to the patient.
Four models are now available: - WebCom® - WebCom® Plus - WebCom® Nano - WebCom® SMS
WebCom® is a tiny hardware module (60 x 47 x 30 mm) used to transfer, via Internet, data concerning one single patient. During the programming phase, each single WebCom® module is linked to a patient, guaranteeing maximum data safety and data uniqueness. It is suitable for telemedicine and home healthcare assistance (as the Tele-INR service offered by our company). One patient per device. Serial port. Ethernet port. Internet data transfer.
WebCom® Plus is a compact external hardware module (100 x 90 x 103 mm) used to transfer data concerning many different patients via Internet. It makes possible to manage more than one patient with only one device, offering a good solution to local health care institutes and off-centered medical guards. One or more patients per device, as requested. Four serial ports. Ethernet port. Internet data transfer.
WebCom® Nano is a miniature version that can be integrated inside the diagnostic device to make home healthcare assistance and telemedicine services even easier. The engineering phase of WebCom® Nano is controlled, in an early stage, by our technicians. During the programming phase it is possible to link each WebCom® Nano module to a single patient (to guarantee maximum data safety and data uniqueness) or to many different patients addressing the specific needs of local health care institutes, hospitals or medical guards. One patient per device. Built-in port / Ethernet port. Internet data transfer.
WebCom® SMS is a small external hardware device (107 x 64 x 33 mm) used to transfer patients’ data via SMS. During the programming phase each single WebCom® SMS module is linked to a single patient, guaranteeing maximum data safety and data uniqueness. It is suitable for telemedicine applications and home healthcare assistance (as the Tele-INR service offered by our company) whenever an Internet connection is not available. One patient per device. Serial port. SMS data transfer.
WebCom® | How does it work?

1 WebCom® is directly connected from one side to the diagnostic device and to internet from the other. 2 The operator (that can be the patient himself) measures the value and then just presses the diagnostic device “send button”. 3 Data are transferred, in a safe way, to Sinaptica IT Headquarters Service Center. 4 The Service Center receives the value automatically, protecting data (through the 3A system) and registering the value on the patient’s digital case history ClinicOnline®. 5 Authorized health operators access, via web, patients’ digital case history ClinicOnline®. ClinicOnline® has been designed to be completely compatible either with most advanced technologies or with already existing software or hardware systems. This means that the operator can have access to patients’ digital case history with most available devices able to connect to the web
