The Italian Space Agency (Italian: Agenzia Spaziale Italiana - ASI) has chosen Archimede®, Sinaptica IT management system for Public Bodies, as a software platform to integrate their own systems and put in force the Italian Legislative decree dated 27 October 2009 n.150 dealing with the Public Administration performance evaluation.

Archimede® is a management software application which, since many years, has been successfully used by ISFOL -the Italian Institute for the Development of Professional Training of Workers-, where it has allowed to perform on line all the Body's activities reporting.
Issued by Sinaptica IT as an open source software, Archimede® stands out as an on line solution respectful of the paradigms of both, maximum safety and administrative acts transparency: "We are proud of the fact that ASI has chosen our software to support to their activities -explains the engineer  Marco Capoferri, responsible of research and development within Sinaptica IT. It is an evidence of an optimal performance shown by Archimede during these past years in terms of efficacy, efficiency and cost-effective. This choice supports some strategic choices that appear to be winning options, as for example the web access, the parametric and modular structure, and, of course, the Open Source license."

Furthermore, besides of supplying Archimede®, Sinaptica IT will also be in charge of training and assistance needed to use the system, as well as of developing targeted interface modules aimed at already existing IT tools within ASI.
