ClinicOnline® is the digital clinical case history on the web: safe and compliant with data privacy and traceability requirements, it allows clinical data access from no matter where. ClinicOnline® is able to allow diagnostic instrumentation, databases, professional personnel and all actors concerned in the health care process communicate with each other.
ClinicOnline® is accessible via web (Internet Explorer, FireFox, Safari, Opera) without needing to install any software, and is conceived to be perfectly compatible with the most advanced technology as well as with previous hardware and software applications. Based on principles like “individuals at the center of our attention”, “systems integration” and “communication between different organizational units”, ClinicOnline® allows healthcare process to go far beyond in terms of efficacy and costs optimization.
ClinicOnline® makes the new, customized, healthcare model operate through a transmission encrypted system via web with an underlying safety logic that is totally compliant with the Italian regulation in terms of privacy (196/2003) and can be adapted to any other legal requirements upon request. ClinicOnline®, structured in a modular way, can also be used as an interface with already existing systems or with non-homogeneous data sources.

CASE HISTORY
ClinicOnline® is the digital case history that lets authorized healthcare operators enter, consult and complete, in real time, data concerning the clinical history of a given patient (symptoms, diagnosis, tests, drug therapies). With this case history you can optimize data flow, supply tele-assistance, register useful data aimed at management activities, create horizontal communication between different medical environments and export data for clinical trials.
CLINICAL CALENDAR
ClinicOnline® calendar lets you manage drug therapies (that can be automatically generated by the system) and offers the possibility of entering therapy results or remarks about them. Therapy can also be communicated to patients via SMSs, including reminders of each single administration.
With this Calendar you can also manage bookings and appointments in an efficient way, shortening management time, risk error, overproduction of paper material and sending therapy changes or appointments reminders to patients via SMS or e-mail.
TELECONSULTING
ClinicOnline® makes distance communication between field professionals, physicians and patients operative. The encrypted communication and the possibility of sending data in an anonymous way give physicians the possibility of requesting a specialized external teleconsulting sharing with a colleague a given clinical case history, while, at the same time, patients may discuss with the center in which they are followed, without moving from their homes. This platform can also host teleconferences and clinical forums.
SINGLE INTERFACE
ClinicOnline® can manage data from and for third parties IT systems (software or hardware), including closed ones or those lacking a common language: this solution adds value to hardware and software solutions that already exists and allows extending to the whole system the safety standard that characterizes ClinicOnline®. Management is conducted through particular Interface Agents (IA).

ClinicOnline® works through a common web browser (Internet Explorer, FireFox, Safari, Opera) and does not need any other software to be installed. This allows authorized operators to consult and update clinical case histories by means of any web connected device (PC, ultra mobile PC, iPod Touch, cellular phones with web connection) from anywhere they are. ClinicOnline® is a worldwide system, that can convey data all over the world, via internet, intranet and extranet with wired (ISDN and XDSL) or wireless (Wi-Fi , WiMAX, Gsm-Gprs-Umts, satellite) connections.
SAFETY AND PRIVACY
ClinicOnline® is totally compliant with Italian privacy regulations (196/2003) on sensitive data treatment thanks to the use of the https standard, to the data Integrated Encryption System (IES), and to the 3A Real Time record modality. ClinicOnline® safety logic is thoroughly mathematical and based on different data access levels management structured by users and groups. This logic makes clinical data treatment possible also in a completely anonymous way that is essential for example, to services aimed for drug addicts, teleconsulting or clinical trials.
TRACEABILITY AND TRANSPARENCY
ClinicOnline® keeps the history of all changes and operations done so as to get to the operator who has done them. In addition, the 3A Real Time record data modality prevents the possibility of data review from non authorized users, reducing the error risk from non clinical personnel. Also patients, if authorized by healthcare Institutions, can consult their own digital clinical history from any web connected computer. This ClinicOnline® function offers a pragmatic application of privacy regulations in terms of sensitive data recognizing patients as “real owners of own clinical data”.
